Earn Tax Credits
When you donate $250 or more to DDRC through Enterprise Zone or the Child Care tax credit, the state of Colorado will give YOU a tax credit. A donation through Enterprise Zone will support our day programs, including the Adult Vocational Services and the Graduate Activity Program and you will get a 25% tax credit. If you donate through the Child Care Contribution Credit, you receive a 50% tax credit from the state of Colorado and funding enables DDRC to pay for care and services in child care facilities.
To make a gift through Enterprise Zone of the Child Care tax credit, please make a check payable to DDRC, indicate “Enterprise Zone” or “Child Care Contribution Credit” on the memo line and mail to:

DDRC will send you an acknowledgement and tax credit certificate to be filed with your tax return. (25% or 50%).

Child Care Fund —One of the many cuts made to the Colorado budget has been to suspend the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (up to a 50% credit on your Colorado income tax). You may still make a CCCTC donation in 2011, but the tax credit will be deferred until the State General Fund Appropriations grow by six percent over the previous year and the tax credits go back into effect.
